What is an Exhaust Elbow?

An exhaust system elbow is angled or bent piping used to guide reaction exhaust gases away from a controlled combustion inside an engine. The entire system works together to get the engine gas fumes from the engine to the outside air using many different types and angles of pipes.

Depending on the overall system design, the exhaust gas may flow through a wide array of exhaust elbows below:

How do I choose the Type of Ends I need?

When purchasing Exhaust Elbows, please make sure that you are getting the right size and have the Ends of the Elbows figured correctly.

ID = Inside Diameter
OD = Outside Diameter

You can think of the pipe with an ID end as being the Female end of the Pipe, and the OD ended pipe being the Male. The OD will fit inside of the ID.

NOTE:

Dont forget your clamps to complete the job. Most any clamp will work, it just needs to be the same size diameter as the exhaust pipe you are purchasing.

The majority of our products are shipped by Federal Express. Large and extra-long pipes require your items to be shipped by freight truck. Freight shipments are based on the requirement they be made to a verified Commercial Business address. Home/residence deliveries cannot be made.

If you choose to have deliveries made to a home/residence, be advised that the cost to do so more than doubles the cost of delivery to a verified business address.

If you have a large order, please EMAIL US in advance so we work with you to determine your options for optimal delivery charges.

Restocking Fee: Eligible returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. You will need to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Grand Rock 1-Year Warranty

This product is covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.

In the rare event that a product does not perform as expected, Grand Rock warrants its products against failure due to defects in materials and workmanship for the period specified under Terms and Conditions for the particular part. Grand RockÂ’s obligation under this warranty covers replacement of the failed part, including transportation charges. Grand Rock is not responsible for labor costs. Please note that, due to the higher heat output of Emissions Components, Grand Rock cannot warrant the Chrome Plating for any item installed on any truck made after 2007.

The Length of Warranty for replacement parts provided under warranty coverage is the balance of the warranty period reÂmaining on the part being replaced. It is important that the customer handles, stores, and installs all products properly. This warranty does not cover failure due to misapplication, misuse, abuse, neglect, rust through and corrosion (muffler), imÂproper service practices or non-approved modification. If you have any questions about proper handling, storing or installation do not hesitate to contact Grand Rock.
